Teen Time Chocolate Nut Bars

Ingredients
  Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Gold medal flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Semi-sweet chocolate pieces 6 Ounce (1 Cup)
  Coarsely chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Heat oven to 350° (mod.).
Blend sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan.
Bring just to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cool 5 min.
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Blend flour, salt, baking powder, and soda.
Beat eggs into butter mixture.
Add flour mixture; mix thoroughly.
Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts.
Spread in greased and floured oblong pan, 13x 9 1/2x2".
Bake 25 min.
Cool; cut in 2x1" bars.
