Preheat oven to 325° F.and grease a 7 x 11-inch baking pan.
In a medium-size bowl, beat egg with honey and vanilla.
Combine flour, soda, and salt and add to the first mixture.
Spread the batter in prepared pan, sprinkle nuts over the top, and bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
Cut into squares or bars while still warm.
