|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), divided|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Orange juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange zest||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), ground|
Cut butter into flour until mixture is consistency of coarse crumbs.
Stir in 1/4 cup sugar and salt until well combined.
Press into 9-inch square baking dish.
Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs, orange juice, and orange zest until blended.
Pour over cooled crust.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Bake crust 10 to 12 minutes until firm but not brown.
Add cheese mixture.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes until set.
Sprinkle with almonds and cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Cut into squares to serve.
