Bake Me Not Peanut Bars

  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened
  Creamy peanut butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  All purpose flour/Self raising flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Cocktail peanuts 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)

In large mixing bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, flour, vanilla extract and peanuts; mix well.
In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, cook sugar and water over medium heat, to hard-ball stage (250° F.), or until syrup forms a hard ball when dropped into very cold water.
Pour slowly over butter-flour mixture.
Stir until thickened and well blended.
Pour into buttered 11 x 7-inch pan.
Cut into bars.
