Pebble Top Chocolate Bars
|Flaked coconut||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Graham cracker crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Semi sweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce (1 Package/ 1 Cup)|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Candied fruit and peel||8 Ounce (1 Package/ 1 Cup)|
In bottom of 9-inch square pan, combine coconut, melted butter, 2 tablespoons sugar and graham cracker crumbs.
Mix well; spread evenly in bottom of pan.
Pat down gently.
In mixer bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, milk, flour, soda, salt and 1/2 cup sugar.
Blend at medium speed of mixer until smooth.
Stir in chocolate pieces and pecans.
Spread over base.
Top with fruit.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool; cut into bars.
