Apricot Crumble Bars

  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Quick cooking oats 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Apricot jam 1 Cup (16 tbs)

In medium size bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, and oats.
Combine until blended.
Press 1/2 of mixture into bottom of buttered baking dish.
Cook on roast (7) for 6 minutes, turning dish after 3 minutes.
Spread jam evenly over baked base.
Crumble remaining oat mixture over jam and press lightly.
Cook on roast (7) for 4 minutes.
Cool and cut into bars.
