Caramel Bananas is a lip smacking dessert. The almonds and sugar gives the Caramel Bananas a different taste.
Superfine caster sugar
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
1 1⁄2 Ounce
Cut 4 squares of non-stick parchment (greaseproof paper).
Peel the bananas, put 1 banana on each square of paper and form into an envelope.
Put the envelopes in a circle on a plate and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
Put the sugar in a bowl with 3 (2) tablespoons of water.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 3 minutes.
Add the almonds, stir, cover to avoid splashing and microwave on HIGH fori minute.
Remove the bananas from the envelopes and set on individual dessert plates
