Kera Per Eda ( Eggs On Fried Bananas )
|Cardamom nutmeg powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ripe cooking bananas||6|
|Fried raisin||2 Tablespoon|
|Rose water||2 Tablespoon|
1. Take very ripe cooking bananas. Roll them on a wooden board, peel and slice them.
2. Take a heavy fry pan, place half a cup ghee in it and when hot fry the banana slices till soft and golden. Remove from ghee and mash the cooked bananas till soft. Mix in the sugar, spice powder, raisins and rose water. Spread the mixture in a heavy fry pan.
3. Make six shallow holes in the banana mixture and heat on a low flame. Sprinkle one tablespoon of water. When the mixture becomes warm crack one egg at a time in a saucer and lower it into the hole in the mixture. After all the eggs have been used up, sprinkle a little salt, cover and cook till the eggs are solid.
4. Serve immediately with hot toast or rotlis.
