3 Medium (peeled and sliced lenghtwise and halved)
Vanilla ice cream
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Mix all the ingredients, except the rum and ice cream, in a frying pan and cook over a low heat until bananas begin to brown. Add rum and heat unil it is hot, tilt the pan slightly and ignite the rum until the alcohol burns off and the flames die down. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
