|Lemon juice/Lime juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
1 Peel the bananas.
2 Using lemon juice, brush entire surface of peeled bananas.
3 In a shallow baking pan or in the bottom of a broiler pan, place the bananas.
4 Brush with butter.
5 In a bowl, mix sugar and spices; spoon on top of the bananas.
6 Drizzle again with butter.
7 Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 10 minutes or until nicely browned.
8 Using the juices in the pan, baste the bananas once while broiling.
9 Serve with ham, chicken, veal, pork, lamb or curried dishes.
