Simple Baked Bananas

Ingredients
  Under ripe bananas 4
  Melted butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar/Dark brown sugar / salt To Taste
Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Peel bananas and arrange whole or split lengthwise in a buttered 1-quart au gratin dish or shallow casserole; brush well with butter.
Bake uncovered 15-20 minutes until soft and pale golden.
Sprinkle with sugar and serve as dessert or sprinkle with salt and serve as an accompaniment to roast loin of pork or chicken.
