Brown Sugar Bananas

Ingredients
  Ripe bananas 4 , peeled
  Lemon juice 1
  Butter 4 Ounce (120 Gram)
  Soft brown sugar 4 Pound (Light / Dark)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Pinch
  Ground nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Orange juice 1⁄4 Pint (140 Milliliter)
  Rum 60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoons, White / Dark)
  Lemon 1⁄2 , juiced
  Whipped cream 1⁄4 Pint (140 Milliliter)
  Chopped pecans 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and sprinkle with lemon juice on all sides.
2. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange juice. Stir over gentle heat until the sugar dissolves into a syrup.
3. Add the banana halves and cook gently for about 3 minutes, basting the bananas often with syrup, but not turning them.
4. Once the bananas are heated through, warm the rum in a small saucepan and ignite with a match. Pour the flaming rum over the bananas and shake the pan gently until the flames die down naturally. Place 2 banana halves on each serving plate and top with some of the whipped cream. Sprinkle with pecans and serve immediately.
