|Lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon (fresh)|
|Cloves||1 Dash, ground|
|Orange rind||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (fresh)|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cut bananas in half crosswise with electric knife and then into lengthwise halves.
Dip in lemon juice and place in shallow baking pan.
Pour remaining lemon juice over bananas.
Combine sugar, spices, orange rind and juice in small mixing bowl.
Pour over bananas.
Dot bananas with butter.
Bake 20 minutes. serve as desired.
