Split bananas in half length wise, then halve crosswise.
Place in shallow foilware pan.
Brush with lemon juice.
Melt butter; stir in sugar and cream.
Cook and stir till bubbly.
Remove from heat; add corn flakes; spoon over bananas.
Broil 5 inches from heat till bubbly (about 2 minutes).
Spoon into dishes; top with scoops of ice cream.
