Beat egg yolks at high speed of electric mixer about 6 minutes or till they are thick and lemon colored, Gradually add the 2 tablespoons sugar, beating constantly; beat in banana, vanilla, and nutmeg.
Stir in milk; chill well, Beat egg whites till soft peaks form; gradually add the 3 tablespoons sugar and beat to stiff peaks.
Fold into egg yolk mixture just till combined, leaving a few small fluffs of egg white, Serve at once.
Sprinkle with additional nutmeg, if desired.
