|Firm ripe bananas||12 Small (Other Use 6 Large Ones)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Powdered cinnamon||2 Tablespoon|
Peel the bananas and place them, whole, in rows in a baking pan.
Cut the butter or oleomargarine in 1/4 inch squares and distribute it over the bananas.
Sprinkle with sugar, then cinnamon.
Add 2 cups cold water to the pan, place in a 350° oven, and bake for 1 hour.
Baste every 20 minutes, but don't turn or disturb the bananas.
