Preparation

For the Kentucky Bourbon Balls, firstly, the bourbon and the pecans are rested together for a night in a jar. This is done to retain the flavor of the whiskey or the bourbon. The butter and sugar are mixed together and when the right consistency is formed, the bourbon soaked pecans are put into the mixture and rolled to form balls. These balls are then refrigerated for overnight. The chocolate is melted on water in the double boiler. The chocolate is stirred to prevent it from scorching.
