Pecan Tassies

Ingredients
  Canned cream cheese 3 Ounce
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Sifted flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Broken pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), packed
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Soften cream cheese; blend in 1/2 cup butter.
Stir in flour; blend thoroughly.
Chill for 1 hour.
Shape into 2 dozen 1-inch balls.
Place in small muffin cups; press on bottoms and sides of muffin cups.
Sprinkle pecans in crusts.
Beat egg, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, vanilla and salt together; pour over pecans.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Cool.
Remove from pans.
