Nathan.Shepherd's picture
When I was a child, the first thing I used to grab from the grocer's store was this Cheese Balls. Now, I have this wonerful recipe for Cheese Balls and believe me, it sort of tastes better than I used to get at the store. So, if you too like Cheese Balls, just give this a try!
  Cream cheese 6 Ounce
Sharp cheddar cheese spread 5 Ounce
  Roquefort cheese spread 5 Ounce
  Smoky cheese spread 5 Ounce
  Grated onion/Onion juice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Undiluted evaporated milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Let the four cheeses stand at room temperature for an hour or so.
Put them in a mixing bowl with the onion and Worcester- shire.
Mix with a fork until smooth and well blended.
Stir in milk, a little at a time, and then cover and chill until firm.
This will take about 4 hours or overnight.
Shape the cheeses into a ball.
Roll in the chopped nuts.
Chill until ready to serve.
Serve on a large platter with a parsley or water cress garnish and crisp crackers or wafers
