Olive-Filled Cheese Balls
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Pound, cubed|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, softened|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ripe green olives/Stuffed green olives||25 Large (pitted, drained)|
Heat oven to 400°F.
Start blender at medium speed.
While blender is running, tip center cap and gradually add cheese, blending until grated.
Add butter, flour, and cayenne.
Cover; blend at medium speed until smooth.
If necessary, stop blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with rubber spatula.
Empty contents of blender onto waxed paper.
Shape about 1 tablespoon cheese mixture around each olive, covering it completely.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes.
