Craked Salmon and Pecan Cheese ball
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||2 Teaspoon|
|Liquid smoke||2 Teaspoon (if you have to use it go ahead, i smoke my own fish)|
|Prepared horseradish||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned salmon||16 Ounce, flaked (drained,bones removed)|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Tablespoon (for Garnish)|
|Fresh parsley||1⁄2 Tablespoon, chopped (for Garnish - don't substitute this for dried)|
In a small mixer bowl beat cream cheese at medium speed. scraping the bowl often, until light and fluffy. (2 to 3 min)
Add salt,lemon juice,onion,liquid smoke and horseradish.
continue beating until well mixed (1 to 2 min)
By hand, stir in salmon. spoon into serving bowl. If desired garnish with pecans and parsley.
serve with crackers. store refrigerated
