Lazy Salad

Ingredients
  Boston lettuce head 1
  Romaine lettuce head 1⁄2
  Hard boiled eggs 3 , chopped
  Shallots 1⁄4 Pound, chopped (1 Bunch)
  Chopped onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Use Purple Onions For Color)
  Bacon slices 3 , fried and crumbled
  Parmesan 2 Tablespoon
  Croutons 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Break lettuce into bite-size pieces.
Combine with remaining ingredients.
Pour hot bacon grease over all.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and croutons.
Serves 8.
You may substitute home-grown lettuce or add fresh spinach for color.
May be prepared ahead of time, adding bacon grease, cheese and croutons at the last minute.
