Cheese and Bacon Strata

  Bread slice 5 , toasted and buttered
  Cheddar cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs), grated
  Eggs 4
  Half and half 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Bacon slices 4 , cooked and crumbled
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash

Cut toast into 1 -inch cubes.
Spread toast cubes and cheese in a deep tube pan.
Combine eggs, half-and-half, salt and mustard; pour over the bread-cheese layer.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Sprinkle with bacon, paprika and pepper.
Cover with waxed paper and microwave on MEDIUM (50 percent) power for 16-18 minutes; rotate dish if necessary.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
