Bacon Stuffing With Chestnut And Port

Ingredients
  Sausage meat 500 Gram
  Dried cranberries 75 Gram
  Port 50 Milliliter
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped finely
  White onion 1 Large, chopped finely
  Dried thyme 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Streaky bacon 3 Medium
  Chestnuts 240 Gram, cooked, peeled
  Breadcrumbs 140 Gram
  Eggs 1 Large
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Pepper 1 Pinch
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven at 190*C.
2. In a bowl, soak cranberries.

MAKING
2. In a pan, melt butter and fry bacon and onions.
3. In a blender, blend the chest nut.
4. In a bowl, add cooked bacons and onions. add sausage meat, dried cranberries, port, garlic, thyme, breadcrumbs, eggs and salt and pepper.
5. Roll into balls and pop it into the oven for 35 minutes.

SERVING
6. Use the stuffing for turkey or chicken.
