Bacon Wrapped Franks
|Frankfurters||2 Pound (2 Packages, 1 Pound Each)|
|Bacon slices||1 Pound (1 Package / 16 Slices)|
|Tomato sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Zippy)|
|Hot dog buns||16 , toasted (2 Packages, 8 Buns Each)|
1. Prepare the grill so the coals are very hot.
2. Score the frankfurters about 3/4 inch deep. Wrap 1 strip of bacon around each frankfurter; secure the bacon with wooden picks. Brush each frankfurter with the Zippy Tomato Sauce to coat well.
3. Grill the frankfurters 6 inches from the heat, turning and brushing once or twice with more sauce, for 10 minutes or until the franks are puffed and richly glazed.
