The Blta Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Avocado
|Bacon rashers||12 , rind removed|
|White bread slice||8 , toasted|
|Iceberg lettuce/Cos lettuce leaves||4|
|Ripe avocado||1 , halved, stoned and sliced|
|Tomatoes||2 Large, cut into 12 slices|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. Grill or fry bacon for 4-5 minutes or until crisp. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and set aside.
2. Spread each slice of toast with mayonnaise.
3. Divide lettuce, bacon, avocado and tomatoes evenly between four slices of toast. Season to taste with black pepper and top with remaining toast slices.
