Homemade Bacon

Ingredients
  Pork 500 Gram
  Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Select a piece of pork without bones. Do not wash but wipe it dry.
2. Mix saltpetre, sugar and salt and rub into pork. Put into a dish and keep in the refrigerator.
3. Turn daily for a fortnight. It is then ready for use.
