Cabbage With Cheese And Bacon
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cabbage wedges||2 Pound (6 Large)|
|Condensed cheddar cheese soup||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Celery seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Bacon slices||6 , crisply cooked and crumbled|
1. Place water and salt in 2-quart casserole; arrange cabbage wedges spoke-fashion with core at outside edge. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 6 minutes; rotate casserole 1/2 turn. Microwave until crisp-tender, 5 to 7 minutes longer. Drain liquid, reserving 2 tablespoons.
2. Mix reserved liquid, soup, mustard and celery seed. Pour over cabbage wedges. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) until hot, 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle with bacon.
