Bacon And Beef Succotash

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 6
  Beef chuck 3⁄4 Pound, ground
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Shelled lima beans 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh / Frozen)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned whole kernel corn 2 Cup (32 tbs), drained
Directions

Pan-broil bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon and reserve.
Heat 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
Saute beef and onion in fat, breaking up meat with a fork.
Add Lima beans and water and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes.
Add corn and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Season to taste.
