Peas With Bacon

Ingredients
  Fresh peas 1 1⁄2 Pound (750 Gram)
  Bacon rashers 2
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chicken stock cube 1
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Shell peas.
Remove rind from bacon, chop bacon finely.
Cook bacon in pan until crisp, drain on absorbent paper.
Place peas, water and crumbled stock cube in saucepan, bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until peas are tender.
Drain.
Season with salt and pepper, add bacon, stir through.
