Waffled Bacon & Cheese Sandwiches

  White bread slices/Other white bread 8 (Home Style)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (At Room Temperature)
  Apple butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sliced canadian bacon/Sandwich ham 4 Ounce
  American cheese slices 4 Ounce (4 Slices 1 Ounce Each)
  Orange slices 4

Preheat waffle iron as manufacturer directs.
Spread 1 side of 4 slices of bread with about 1/3 of the butter or margarine.
Place slices, buttered-side down, on a sheet of waxed paper.
Spread about 1 tablespoon apple butter over bread.
Place Canadian bacon or ham and cheese on top.
Spread both sides of remaining 4 slices bread with remaining butter or margarine.
Place on top of sandwiches.
Place sandwiches in hot waffle iron; close waffle iron.
Heat until cheese melts and sandwich is golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
Cut sandwiches in half, corner to corner.
Top with overlapping orange slices,
