Fry bacon in a skillet until almost crispy; cut into small pieces.
Place in bottom and sides of a custard cup; break the egg into bacon-lined cup.
Sprinkle with desired amount of pepper.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes or until egg is firm.
