Avocado open facers are open face sandwiches made with toasted wheat bread. Topped with avocados, mayonnaise and lemon juice along with lettuce leaf and bacon, the avocado open facer sandwich is fresh and green with the flavor of crisp bacon. Served with thousand island dressing, along with vegetable relish, the avocado open facer is filling and appealing to serve.
  Mayonnaise/Salad dressing 3 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Whole wheat bread slice 4 , toasted
  Avocado 1 , peeled and sliced
  Leaf lettuce 1
  Tomato 1 , thinly sliced
  Bacon slices 8 , crisp-cooked and drained
  Thousand island dressing 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Combine mayonnaise and half the lemon juice; spread on one side of each slice toast.
Brush avocado with remaining lemon juice.
Place leaf lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado slices on toast.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Crisscross 2 bacon slices atop each.
Spoon on Thousand Island dressing.
Garnish plate with relishes.
