Orange Avocado Toss
|French salad dressing||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Shredded orange peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Avocado||1 Medium, halved, pitted, and peeled|
|Orange||1 Medium, sectioned and white membrane removed|
|Torn bibb lettuce/Boston lettuce||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green onion||1 , sliced|
Combine French dressing and peel; set aside for one hour.
Slice avocado into bottom of salad bowl.
Cover completely with the orange sections.
Top with lettuce and onion.
Cover bowl with clear plastic wrap; chill.
At serving time add dressing-peel mixture; toss gently.
Serve at once.
