Saucy Asparagus

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Frozen cut asparagus 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned water chestnuts 8 Ounce, drained and sliced (1 Can)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Slivered almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Place onion, celery and butter in a 2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Add asparagus.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until asparagus can be separated with a fork.
Stir once during cooking.
Stir in remaining ingredients except almonds.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes [ROASTS, 7 to 9 minutes].
Stir once during cooking.
Stir and let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
