Asparagus Florentine (Sparagio Alla Fiorentina)
|Fresh asparagus||2 Bunch (200 gm)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (62.5 Gram)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (30 Gram)|
Snap off tough ends of asparagus and wash stalks very well.
Cook asparagus in boiling salted water until just tender.
Wrap one piece of prosciutto around a few stalks and fasten with a toothpick.
Butter the bottom of a baking dish and lay bundles of asparagus in the dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in a 400Â°F (200Â°C) oven for about 10 minutes.
