Asparagus Vinaigrette

Ingredients
  French dressing 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped green onion 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped sweet pickles 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped green pepper 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped capers 1 Tablespoon
  Fresh asparagus 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Lettuce 1
  Hard cooked eggs 1
Directions

Combine dressing, onion, pickles, green pepper, parsley and capers and chill well.
Put the asparagus in a flat dish in a single layer 1 hour before serving time.
Pour the dressing mixture over.
Cover and chill until serving time.
Lift asparagus out and arrange on lettuce on individual salad plates.
Spoon a little of the dressing mixture over each.
Press the hard-cooked egg through a sieve to garnish the top of each salad.
