Quick Lemon Roasted Asparagus
|Fresh asparagus||10 Ounce|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Balsamic vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Fresh chives||2 Teaspoon|
|Sea salt||To Taste|
1. Cut the stems at the bottom end of the asparagus for 2-3 inches.
2. Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet. Toss them with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Sprinkle the olive oil, balsamic vinegar over the asparagus and season them with sea salt and ground pepper. Add finely cut fresh chives over the asparagus. Instead of chives, you can use scallions.
3. Preheat the oven to 400F and put the baking sheet inside for about 10 minutes.
4. Serve on a platter by pouring the excess juice from the baking tray over the asparagus.
