Asparagus Par Excellence

Ingredients
  Diced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Frozen asparagus spears 20 Ounce (2 Packets, 10 Ounce Each)
  Minced pimiento 2 Teaspoon
  Finely diced pimento 2 Teaspoon
  Crushed dried tarragon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped parsley 2 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large skillet, pour water and turn on the flame.
2) To the skillet add onion, green pepper and allow the water to come to a rapid boil.
3) Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
4) Cover the skillet and let cook over low flame for about 5 minutes.
5) Add in the asparagus spears into the skillet and let cook another 15 minutes.

SERVING
6) Garnish the dish with pimientos, tarragon and parsley leaves.
7) Serve alongside any main dish.
