Saucy Asparagus With Mushrooms

Ingredients
  Asparagus 2 Can (20 oz), drained
  Cream of mushroom soup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned mushroom pieces 1 Can (10 oz)
  American cheese squares 1⁄4 Pound
  Bread crumbs 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1/2 Stick)
Directions

Grease a long flat casserole dish with butter.
Place drained asparagus over bottom.
Add cream of mushroom soup.
Then add mushroom pieces and juice.
Cover with American cheese squares.
Put bread crumbs over cheese and thinly sliced butter over top.
Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven or until it bubbles up through and crumbs are browned.
Can use 2 chopped hard cooked eggs, if desired, for garnish.
