Grilled Sesame Asparagus
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced to make 1 teaspoon|
|Asparagus||1 Pound, woody ends trimmed (Fat One)|
|Kosher salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dark sesame oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Sesame seeds||2 Tablespoon|
1. Prepare a medium-high-heat grill. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes.
2. Mix oil and garlic in a small bowl. Line up 5 to 6 asparagus. Insert skewer 2 to 3 inches below tips. Slide another skewer through them about 1 inch from root end. Repeat with remaining asparagus and skewers. Brush each "raft" with garlic oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Grill asparagus for 5 minutes; turn and cook until tender and lightly charred, 5 minutes longer. Transfer rafts to a platter and remove skewers. Drizzle with sesame oil and scatter on sesame seeds.
