Seeking out the pre-cooked rice in the refrigerator helps saves time. I serve it with fish, but it would also be great with chicken. You can use it with any style of rice and try different vegetables, too!
1 Bunch (100 gm)
2 Cup (32 tbs) (Any Brand)
4 Clove (20 gm)
1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Freshly ground black pepper
Cut the Asparagus in to 1 inch long pieces. Make sure you discard the ends. Mince the garlic cloves (do not make a paste). In a bowl put asparagus, salt, pepper, garlic and ½ Tbsp of oil. Mix until each asparagus gets coated with the mixture. Let this sit in the fridge for about an hour.
Now, Place a non-stick pan on medium heat and add the rest of the oil to the pan. When it starts to heat up, drop the asparagus. You want to hear a sizzle here. Cook the asparagus for about 5-6 minutes until semi tender and then drop rice to this mixture. Sauté until all of the asparagus mixes well with the rice.
