Spiced Asparagus Vinaigrette

Ingredients
  White wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 3
  Whole cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Celery seed 1 Teaspoon
  Asparagus spears/32 ounce asparagus spears, drained 2 Pound, cooked
Directions

In a medium saucepan combine vinegar, water, sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and celery seed.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
In a shallow dish arrange asparagus.
Pour hot liquid over asparagus; cover.
Marinate in refrigerator overnight.
Drain.
Serve hot or cold.
