Crisp Asparagus is a wonderful dish flavoured with the balsamic white vineger, shallots, garlic and 2007 Sauvignon Blanc. Join Amelia Ceja as she prepares crisp asparagus paired with Ceja Vineyards' 2007 Sauvignon Blanc. This simple yet delightful dish is sure to complement any Spring meal.
2 Small, chop
Extra virgin olive oil
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
White balsamic vinegar
Sauvignon blanc wine
1) In a large pot of boiling water with a little salt and olive oil, place the asparagus for 1 minute.
2) Remove and place the asparagus in a cold water bath.
3) In a bowl, add the shallots, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic white vineger, garlic, salt, sugar and Sauvignon Blanc. Mix well.
4) Serve the asparagus in a plate and pour over the dressing.
