Creamed Asparagus Tuna
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Evaporated milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Canned asparagus spears||14 1⁄2 Ounce, drain and reserve liquid (1 Can)|
|Canned tuna fish||7 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Chopped pimento||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Dash|
|Baked pastry shells/Baked toast||1|
Microwave butter in a 4-cup glass measure at HIGH 30 seconds.
Blend in flour and milk.
Stir drained liquid from asparagus spears into milk mixture.
Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes.
Stir mixture at 1 minute intervals until thickened.
Add asparagus, tuna fish, pimiento, salt, onion salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Microwave at HIGH 6 to 7 minutes.
Stir mixture after 3 minutes.
