Broughton'S Asparagus Supreme Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Melt butter, add flour mixed with seasoning and stir until well blended.
Add hot milk gradually while stirring constantly.
Bring to boiling point, boil 2 minutes. (Add cheese just before pouring over asparagus.)
