Asparagus With Cheese
|Asparagus spears||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Gruyere cheese/Emmenthal cheese||4 Cup (64 tbs), grated|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
Pre-heat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a casserole dish.
Wash and trim the asparagus, then simmer or steam it, in batches if necessary, for 4-5 minutes depending on the thickness of the spears.
Drain well, and arrange it in the casserole dish.
Place small pieces of butter on top of the asparagus and pour the lemon juice over it.
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the asparagus and bake for 10 minutes.
Season with pepper and serve hot.
