Layered Asparagus Dish
|Asparagus||500 Gram (pared, fresh)|
|Water||125 Milliliter (1/2 cup)|
|Tomato sauce||250 Milliliter, heated (1 cup)|
|White sauce||250 Milliliter, heated (1 cup)|
|Nutmeg||1 Milliliter (1/4 tsp)|
|Gruyere cheese||250 Milliliter, grated (1 cup)|
Place asparagus and water in casserole.
Season with salt, cover and microwave 6 minutes.
Using tongs bring asparagus at bottom of casserole towards top; replace cover and microwave 6 more minutes. (If asparagus are very large continue microwaving an extra minute.) Discard liquid from casserole and remove half of asparagus.
Add half of each: tomato sauce, white sauce, nutmeg and cheese.
Cover with remaining asparagus and repeat above layers.
Cover and microwave 3 minutes.
