Pickled Asparagus

Ingredients
  Asparagus 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Do Not Use Tips)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), boiling
  Sugar 2⁄3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Tablespoon
  Dill seed 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Put cut asparagus in pint jar.
Put boiling water in pan.
Add sugar and salt, stir until dissolved and add vinegar.
Cool.
Place 1 clove of garlic (or less) in jar and add dill seed.
Fill jar to 1/2 inch of top; place on lid and let process 15 minutes after water boils.
