Butter Sauced Asparagus
|Fresh asparagus/2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen asparagus spears, cooked||2 Pound, washed|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pecans||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finley chopped|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
1. Put fresh asparagus into a small amount of boiling salted water in a skillet, bring to boiling, reduce heat, and cook 5 minutes, uncovered; cover and cook 10 minutes, or until just tender.
2. Meanwhile, heat butter in a small saucepan. Add pecans and celery and cook 5 minutes. Stir in lemon juice. Pour over asparagus
